NCS Finds a New Home and Vision at SXSW London
A Fresh Chapter for Creative Talent
Saatchi & Saatchi has reimagined its New Creators’ Showcase and moved it from Cannes to SXSW London for 2026. The shift reflects a broader creative landscape that extends beyond traditional advertising and puts contemporary moving-image practice at the heart of culture, technology and music.
Expanding the Creative Canvas
Beyond Film: Welcoming All Moving-Image Creators
NCS now accepts a wider range of work. Filmmakers remain central, but artists, animators, composers and musicians working with moving image, motion graphics or audiovisual projects are invited to submit. The showcase celebrates the modern creator without format limits, from short films to motion design, music visuals and experimental pieces.
The “C” Stands for Connection and Collaboration
Building Meaningful Industry Relationships
Alongside screenings and showcases, NCS introduces a structured networking programme that links selected creators directly with agency leads, brands and commissioners. Designed to move beyond one-off meetings, the format encourages ongoing collaboration, mentorship and project opportunities that can accelerate career trajectories.
Music Takes Center Stage
Supporting Sustainable Creative Careers
Music is elevated with a dedicated NCS Music strand. That showcase pairs musicians and composers with brand partners and music supervisors, creating routes to paid work and long-term partnerships beyond streaming revenues. The aim is practical: connect talent to briefs, sync opportunities and creative briefs that help sustain careers.
