Wimbledon, Culture & Culinary Delights

Catch the Wimbledon Action

The festival screens live Wimbledon matches on a big screen, creating a lively communal atmosphere ideal for families and friends. Expect a picnic vibe, match-day commentary and a buzzing crowd during key fixtures throughout Wimbledon fortnight.

A Feast for Food Lovers

Food is central to the line-up. The Guest Kitchen hosts rotating chefs and restaurants such as Cafe Murano and Montagu Kitchen, serving signature dishes across the run. Street food traders from the KERB roster bring global flavours, while a pop-up Home House bar offers cocktails and light drinks for evening socialising.

Workshops, Wellness & Entertainment

The programme includes creative writing sessions, botanical scent-making, theatre tasters, watercolour classes and cocktail masterclasses. For movement and calm there are yoga, Pilates and breathwork sessions. Salsa socials and live performance round out the schedule, with many activities suitable for adults and older children.

A Festival for Community & Charity

Summer in the Square has a strong community focus and partners with The Passage to support people experiencing homelessness. Events promote local culture and give back, with information and fundraising activities woven into the festival programme.
